In 2017, the Offender Database reported that Bruce Child, the Bexhill Paedophile Child Rapist, admitted to travelling to Leicester to meet the young girl for sex after speaking to her online.
The then 63-year-old, Bruce Child, who worked in Hastings but lives in Jameson Road, Bexhill, also pleaded guilty to making indecent images of children.
Bruce Child was sentenced at Hove Crown Court to three years in prison for grooming. He was also handed concurrent sentences of three and six months for the images.
Bruce Child will be a registered sex offender for life and was handed a sexual offence prevention order to restrict his access to children and computers.
The sentencing follows an investigation by the East Sussex Safeguarding Investigation Unit and the Sussex Police Complex Abuse Unit.

Bruce Child from Bexhill has received an 18-year prison sentence for the sexual abuse of a young woman over five years, as reported by the police.
Bruce Child, then 64, formerly of Jameson Road, Bexhill, was convicted of enabling the sexual exploitation of two children by another perpetrator who has previously been sentenced to life imprisonment, according to police reports.
The individual is currently serving a three-year sentence, which was imposed in March of the previous year, for seeking to meet a child following sexual grooming and for two offences related to the creation of indecent photos of children, as reported by the police.
The police reported that he was sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on Thursday, May 10, after pleading guilty on February 6 to two counts of multiple indecent assaults on a female under 16, two counts of multiple rapes of the same victim when over 16, and one count of facilitating the commission of child sex offences by another individual in Hertfordshire.

Bruce Child from Bexhill is going to be released from prison in 2027 after serving just 8 years of an 18-year sentence. Now that is why Britain is the child sexual abuse hub of the Western world and has twice as many child sex offenders, pro rata, as the USA.
