AN ALLEGED Chippenham Paedophile teacher, Bronwen James, is scheduled to appear before Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (09/07) after being accused with sexual crimes involving three minors.
Bronwen James, 29, from Chippenham, instructed physical education at Hardenhuish School in Chippenham and Bitterne Park School in Southampton.
She is charged with sexual activity and communications involving three youngsters over a three-year span.

A former physical education instructor, Bronwen James, has been indicted on 13 sexual crimes involving three minors, both female and male.
Bronwen James, 29, of Chippenham, is scheduled to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
She formerly instructed physical education at Hardenhuish School in Chippenham and Bitterne Park School in Southampton.
“Bronwen James faces charges relating to sexual activity and communications against three children over a three-year-period,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said.
The defendant, Bronwen James, of Lytham Close, Chippenham, has been charged with:
- Engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 14 (x2)
- Engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 14 (x3)
- Engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 15
- Sexual activity with a boy aged 16 – abusing a position of trust (x4)
- Engaging in sexual communication with a child aged under 16 (x2)
- Make an indecent photograph of a child in Category C

A former physical education instructor, currently confronting multiple accusations, has acknowledged engaging in sexual communication with a schoolgirl but refutes additional allegations of abuse involving two girls and one boy.
Bronwen James, aged 29, presented herself at Salisbury Crown Court on Tuesday.
She admitted guilt to a single allegation of engaging in sexual communication with a minor.
She, however, refuted a total of 11 further charges against two girls and a boy over a three-year span.
The allegations include of six counts of sexual action involving two girls, four counts of sexual activity involving a boy, and one count of engaging in sexual communication with a minor.
James, from Chippenham, Wiltshire, will undergo a 10-day trial commencing on 27 April 2026 at Winchester Crown Court.
Wiltshire Police previously verified that James instructed Physical Education at Hardenhuish School in Chippenham and Bitterne Park School in Southampton.
James was granted bond on the stipulation that she refrains from any contact with the children mentioned in the complaint. She is additionally barred from engaging in any unsupervised interactions with individuals under the age of 16.
