The Offender Database reported that Bradley Talbot, the Portsmouth Paedophile Sex Offender, who facilitated an internet forum that extorted teenage girls into producing indecent photographs or inflicting self-harm, has been punished following an investigation by the National Crime Agency (NCA).

Bradley Talbot, 29, from Portsmouth, was an engaged participant in a Com group functioning on Telegram.

Com groups are online collectives of persons who collaborate or compete to perpetrate harm across many criminal activities, including cybercrime and child sexual exploitation.

Bradley Talbot’s group, with 6,000 members, actively sought and disseminated child sexual assault material, with Bradley Talbot seen as a ‘key member’.

They exploited social media to target minors, creating conversations before coercing them into sending personal photographs.

Eventually, they would intensify the request to include indecent photographs before issuing increasingly explicit demands and threatening to disseminate the images to the victim’s family if compliance was not achieved.

The maltreatment also involved compelling them to etch the names of their abusers onto their bodies using sharp implements.

The victims were between the ages of 12 and 17. Over 100 child victims have been identified through this organisation, with at least 25 per cent suspected to originate from the UK.

Messages within the Telegram group indicated that Bradley Talbot was actively engaged in the selling and promotion of blackmail child abuse material and frequently participated in determining the organisation’s operational strategies to acquire further content.

In one instance, he mentioned creating a little film highlighting the abuse occurring on the channel, asserting that ‘it will effectively attract individuals to join’.

Additional texts indicated his participation in the livestream exploitation of minors, orchestrating the abuse via video calls.

Bradley Talbot was accused of involvement in the illicit activities of an organised crime syndicate, orchestrating or enabling the sexual exploitation of a child under the age of 13, and disseminating an obscene image of a child.

He entered a guilty plea during a hearing at Portsmouth Crown Court on 29 April 2025.

Bradley Talbot received ONLY a sentence of seven years and six months’ jail today (21 November) and will be subject to a lifetime Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
