A guy, Arthur Dunn Hensingham Rapist, from West Cumberland has been sentenced to five years for sexual assault. Sentenced at Carlisle Crown Court, Arthur Dunn, 66, of Lincoln Road, Hensingham was found guilty of sexual assault and assault on a female by penetration.
There was just one victim in the 2022 tragedy on Cleator Moor. In May a jury convicted Dunn.
Detective Sergeant Sue Procter, the investigating officer, said, “I would want to praise the victims for their bravery in reporting these activities. For victims and their families, sexual abuse can have disastrous effects.
“We would urge anyone who has seen similar events to notify the authorities. We have duly qualified cops who will look into and assist you.
