The Offender Database reported that Arthur Baker, a Norwich Paedophile Child Molester, 75, sexually molested an 11-year-old child during a camping trip, according to court testimony.
Arthur Baker was residing at a campsite near Cromer concurrently with his little victim.
“The child was not able to say exactly what he was doing, but that the hand was moving, and it lasted for two to three minutes,” said Miss Tucker.
The child ran off following the incident on July 9, 2022 and told family members about what happened.
Police were later informed and interviewed Arthur Baker, who made no comment to officers.
Arthur Baker, of Hall Road, Norwich, Norfolk, appeared at court on Wednesday (September 24, 2025) for sentencing after admitting an offence of sexual assault of a child under 13.
The defendant, who used a walking stick and wore a grey jumper and glasses, rocked backwards and forwards in the dock as he was waiting to be sentenced.
The court heard the victim did not want her impact statement to be read out in court, although her mother’s statement “details vividly the impact the offence has had on the family”.
