In 2018, the Offender Database reported that Arron Wright, the Carlisle Paedophile Child Molester, who sexually groomed a schoolgirl, was sentenced to five years in prison.
Arron Wright, then 27, perpetrated numerous offences alongside the 14-year-old female and coerced her into a vow of silence.
Arron Wright’s actions were ultimately reported, but during his initial police interview post-arrest, he refuted any claims of sexual contact.
He then confessed to four charges of sexual behaviour with the minor and three counts of inducing her to participate in sexual activity.
Carlisle Crown Court was informed that the girl subsequently described experiencing “horrifying nightmares” and articulated that Arron Wright’s unlawful actions had “diminished my confidence and lowered my self-esteem.”
Mr Justice William Davis issued a five-year prison term today (Friday).
Arron Wright, formerly of Carlisle and more recently of Methil, near Leven, Scotland, is required to register as a sex offender and comply with the stringent conditions of a sexual harm prevention order indefinitely.
He will be prohibited from engaging with minors and vulnerable persons.
