The British Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images. They are urgently appealing for information following a violent and abhorrent rape that began in Leatherhead, Surrey, and continued onto a London-bound train. The attack occurred on the night of August 23, 2025.
According to detectives, the victim was walking through an alleyway leading to Leatherhead railway station at approximately 11:00 pm when a man approached her. After a brief conversation, the suspect struck the victim on the back of the head and raped her. In a harrowing continuation of the incident, both the victim and the suspect boarded a train toward London, eventually alighting at Cheam. Shortly before midnight, a passer-by discovered the victim lying by the roadside outside Cheam station.
