A 66-year-old Kettering Paedophile, Andrew Pinney, has been incarcerated after confessing to violating the conditions of his Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
Andrew Pinney, formerly residing on Montagu Street, Kettering, received a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) in March 2022, subsequent to his conviction for producing indecent images and pseudo-photographs of minors.
The SHPO was imposed with certain conditions, including the obligation to inform law enforcement upon acquiring any new electronic equipment capable of internet access and to refrain from utilising cleaning software on any device.
On February 26 of this year, Andrew Pinney was visited by officers from Northamptonshire Police’s MOSOVO team, who discovered two mobile phones and a laptop at his residence that he had not disclosed.
The items were confiscated and, upon inquiry, were discovered to contain indecent photographs of minors, inappropriate online searches, and data cleaning software.
Andrew Pinney was apprehended and subsequently indicted on four counts of violating his Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and one count of producing indecent pictures.
On September 5, Andrew Pinney appeared at Northampton Crown Court, where he admitted guilt to all five charges and received a sentence of one year and ten months in jail.
