Andrew Baugh, the Wrexham Paedophile, 41, of Gresford Road, Llay, an engineer with no prior convictions, was sentenced to seven years in prison at Mould Crown Court. He confessed to allegations of possessing obscene photos and inducing a youngster to participate in sexual behaviour.
Prosecuting barrister Dafydd Roberts stated that 150,000 images or videos found on devices were not classified by the police; however, a significant quantity of child sexual abuse material was there. Aggrieved youths had endured torment.
Andrew Baugh informed the police that he had participated in a fantasy-themed online chat on Kik.
Oliver King, representing the defence, stated that there was a letter of apology from Andrew Baugh, who had undergone counselling with a psychotherapist.
The barrister stated that, regardless of perspective, these offences are profoundly unpleasant, and the defendant is well cognisant of the impending penalty he will receive.

Judge Nicola Jones informed Andrew Baugh that there were genuine victims in the case and that the offences were very troubling and immoral.
A sexual harm prevention order, accompanied by a series of stipulations, will remain in effect indefinitely. He is required to register as a sex offender.
