A Strathaven masseur Sex Offender, Alistair Bennie, is confronting imprisonment following his conviction for the indecent assault of ten female victims.
Alistair Bennie, 61, refuted allegations of molestation during his treatment of the women; however, a jury rendered guilty verdicts following a week-long trial at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
Following the guilty judgements, Alistair Bennie was registered as a sex offender.
Sheriff Linda Nicolson postponed sentencing until May for the completion of background reports, an electronic tagging evaluation, and a risk assessment.
Alistair Bennie, residing on Hamilton Road in Strathaven, continues to be on bail.
