An HMP Nottingham Paedophile, Alex Sly, currently incarcerated for child sexual abuse, will face an extended prison term following his conviction for more charges.
In January of this year, Alex Sly, 25 years old, received a prolonged term of seven and a half years for engaging in sexual behaviour with a minor.
The incident occurred in another location in the country in mid-2024, nearly a year after Alex Sly sexually attacked a lady at a motel near Mansfield.
The woman, who reported the incident to Nottinghamshire Police in February 2024, was asleep in the same bed when she awoke to see Alex Sly abusing her.
Following a confrontation with his conduct, Alex Sly expressed remorse and subsequently communicated with his victim, referring to the incident as his ‘most egregious error.’
Alex Sly, who was sentenced in 2022 for collecting indecent photos of children, refuted any allegations of misconduct during the police interrogation.
Despite his conviction and incarceration for the subsequent offence, he persisted in asserting his innocence until the commencement of his trial.
On Wednesday, September 17, he ultimately entered guilty pleas to charges of sexual assault and assault by penetration.
Alex Sly, from HMP Nottingham, was presented before Nottingham Crown Court and received a sentence of three-and-a-half years to be served consecutively with his existing term.
He was issued a restraining order prohibiting any further communication with his victim.
