Albert Jones, the Byfleet Paedophile and Sex Offender, 55, of High Road in Byfleet, was convicted of attempting to induce a female under 16 to participate in sexual activity. He received his sentence at Guildford Crown Court on Thursday, June 30.
Throughout the inquiry, it was revealed that Albert Jones, with a fictitious profile impersonating a 17-year-old, contacted 13-year-old girls on social media platforms, urging them to engage in sexually explicit conversations.
Following a brief interaction, he would close the account and subsequently re-engage with the child, using an alternate profile username.
Albert Jones was apprehended at his residence on 7 April. The majority of the crimes occurred between August 2021 and January of this year.
