Aidn Cowen, the Annfield Plain Paedophile, was under investigation for the sexual abuse of boys, and the idiots at Durham Constabulary let him out on bail so he could rape a woman.
Aidn Cowen, 23, committed sexual assault on a nine-year-old boy and raped a six-year-old youngster, both of whom he threatened with violence, as shown before Newcastle Crown Court.
Aidn Cowen, from Annfield Plain in County Durham, was arrested and freed on bail for previous offences before raping a 20-year-old lady, the court was informed.
He was convicted of eight charges against the boys and confessed to raping the woman, with Judge Penny Moreland characterising him as an offender of particular concern.”
Aidn Cowen was 16 or 17 when he assaulted his first victim, a nine-year-old boy, coercing him through sexual violence and threats of harm, according to prosecutor Joe Culley.
The perpetrator was aged 18 to 19 when he assaulted his second victim, a youngster as young as six, whom he raped and thereafter threatened with violence to ensure his silence, as presented in court.
During the investigation for those acts, Aidn Cowen, then 20 years old, raped a woman, disregarding her cries for cessation, stated Mr Culley.
Aidn Cowen, sentenced to 17 years and eight months in prison, will be required to serve a further two years on extended license following his release, register as a sex offender, and adhere to a sexual harm prevention order for life.
