Aiden Peel, the Aigburth Sex offender, recorded an abhorrent video of a woman in a lavatory on his phone, which was subsequently uncovered by his girlfriend.

Aiden Peel installed a Secret Camera Recorder application and positioned his mobile device in a restroom to record an unwitting individual.

The 24-year-old documented the woman entering the lavatory, disrobing till she was nude for a shower, and thereafter drying herself with a towel.

The ailing voyeur accidently recorded himself installing the concealed gadget on a washbasin and subsequently returning to retrieve it.

Aiden Peel then asserted that he downloaded the application after being “inspired” by a YouTube video, believing it would be suitable for “pranks”.

Nonetheless, he retained the footage for five to six weeks until it was “accidentally discovered” by his girlfriend, who subsequently notified the police.

Aiden Peel, residing on Mersey Road in Aigburth, was convicted of voyeurism following a trial.

Aiden Peel was incarcerated for nine months.
