In May, 2024, Ahmed Deq Mohamed, the Surrey Quays Paedophile, convicted of sexually assaulting a young girl, was sentenced to four years and six months in prison.

Ahmed Deq Mohamed, 20, previously convicted of sexually abusing a child under thirteen, perpetrated another offence on June 16, 2023.

The police apprehended and indicted him merely five days later, with forensic evidence and the victim’s persuasive video testimony contributing to his conviction.

Detective Constable Oliver Colville, who spearheaded the investigation, stated: “I wish to commend the victim for promptly approaching the police and reporting this abhorrent conduct by Mohamed.”

The persuasive video testimony she offered corroborated the forensic evidence, sufficient for the conviction of Mohamed.

Ahmed Deq Mohamed received a sentence of four years and six months in prison, along with twelve months on licence, following his appearance at Inner London Crown Court on May 22.

Ahmed Deq Mohamed was previously convicted of sexually abusing a child under thirteen through penetration, following a trial at the same court.

Ahmed Deq Mohamed will now furthermore be subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
