A Kilmarnock Sex Offender nurse from Ayrshire, Adele Rennie, who pursued a frightened lady following a match on a dating application, has returned to incarceration after reaching out to the victim within ten days post-release from prison.

Adele Rennie, 34, from Kilmarnock, was incarcerated in September 2024 for a sophisticated catfishing scheme. She was issued a five-year non-harassment order prohibiting her from contacting the woman whom she had victimised in the scheme.

Adele Rennie was discharged from incarceration on 13 January of this year but continued to be classified as a sex offender, subject to oversight and limitations. However, within 10 days post-release, Rennie transmitted text messages to her victim.

Adele Rennie entered a guilty plea at the Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Tuesday, April 22. Rennie, referred to as Scotland’s most notorious catfish, was incarcerated in 2017 for a decade-long stalking endeavour.
