The Offender Database reported that Abdullah Shahnamy, the Reading Rapist Molester, has been incarcerated for rape and many sexual offences.
Abdullah Shahnamy, 44, of Elizabeth Walk, Reading, received a sentence of nine-and-a-half years’ imprisonment at Reading Crown Court on Thursday, December 4th.
After a six-day trial at the same court, Abdullah Shahnamy was convicted by a majority verdict on one crime of rape, one count of sexual assault, and three counts of sexual activity without consent on 2 September.
Abdullah Shahnamy has been issued a 20-year sexual harm prevention order and will be on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
He created a fraudulent profile on the male dating service Grindr, impersonating a 26-year-old.
Abdullah Shahnamy coordinated a meeting with a man in his twenties, scheduling it for October 31, 2024, at a location in the eastern part of Reading.
He perpetrated rape and sexual assault against the victim in his own vehicle.
