A PERVERTED AND DEVIANT Animal Abuser couple from Mayhill in Swansea, Aaron Francis and Charlie Sabrina Nakita Smith, has received JUST a suspended prison sentence and a five-year prohibition on animal ownership following their severe mistreatment, TORTURE, AND ABUSE of their dog, which resulted in the animal being euthanised.
Aaron Francis, 27, and Charlie Sabrina Nakita Smith, 25, both residing on Nicander Parade, Mayhill, pleaded guilty to an infringement under the Animal Welfare Act and were sentenced at Swansea Magistrates Court on Thursday, 21 August.
The court was informed that Bear, a one-year-old Tibetan Mastiff, exhibited untreated health issues, evidence of animal abuse and torture, and that Francis and Smith neglected to examine or remedy indications of poor health, such as a heavily matted coat, cherry eye disease, and hip dysplasia.
The dog’s eyes had been so badly abused by Aaron Francis and Charlie Sabrina Nakita Smith that they smelled of cheese and fish from the rotting red fleshy masses that covered where his eyeballs would be.
At sentencing, Aaron Francis and Charlie Sabrina Nakita Smith received a 12-week custodial sentence, suspended for 12 months, along with 15 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement Days.
Alongside the five-year prohibition on animal possession, Aaron Francis and Charlie Sabrina Nakita Smith were mandated to each remit £400 and a victim fee of £154.
