Stuart Clelland, from Airdrie, Lanarkshire, refuted any misconduct and faced trial at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
A jury found him guilty of engaging in sexual contact with the minor from April to September of the previous year.

Sheriff Colin Dunipace postponed sentencing for the first-time offender until next month for reports and extended bail.
However, he cautioned: “Do not be misled; you have been adjudicated guilty of a grave offence, but due to your lack of prior convictions, I will extend bail at this juncture.”
Stuart Clelland was registered as a sex offender.
