The Offender Database reported that Stephen David Camp, Poole Paedophile Child Molester, is due to be released from prison soon.

In 2021, he was incarcerated after being convicted of child sexual offences.

Stephen David Camp was found guilty of two charges of sexual assault on a child under the age of 13 and one count of child assault involving penetration.

The jury’s verdict, pertaining to acts committed in 2013 and 2014, was delivered following a trial at Bournemouth Crown Court.

On Friday, 9 April, at the same court, Judge Robert Pawson sentenced Stephen David Camp, then 66, of Whatleigh Close, Poole, Dorset, to eight years’ imprisonment, with an additional year on parole.

The defendant was permanently registered as a sex offender and subjected to a restraining order, effective until further notice.

Judge Pawson stated that the punishment was predicated on the necessity of public protection.

Detective Constable Leigh Topol of Dorset Police’s Child Abuse Investigation Team (CAIT) stated, “I am gratified that Stephen Camp has received a custodial sentence for the offences he inflicted upon his victim.”
