DANGER – Robert Alexander Robertson, the Swansea Paedophile Child Molester, is prowling Swansea for children to rape after being released early from prison.
In 2017, the Offender Database reported that Robert Alexander Robertson (image from 2017), a convicted paedophile who raped two children and threatened to kill one of his victims if she spoke out, failed in a controversial bid to have his 16-year prison sentence reduced, prompting renewed debate over sentencing in historic child abuse cases.
Robert Alexander Robertson, 56, of Hanover Street, Uplands, Swansea, was found guilty at Swansea Crown Court of three counts of indecency with a child, three counts of rape, and two counts of indecent assault.
The offences, committed in the 1990s, targeted a boy and a girl, both under the age of 10 at the time.
Robert Alexander Robertson denied all wrongdoing, but the jury convicted him after hearing harrowing evidence, including threats he made to his female victim that he would kill her if she told anyone about the abuse.
In 2017, Robert Alexander Robertson was sentenced to 16 years in prison, with an additional year on extended licence.
