Although Nathan Frost, the Crediton Animal Abuser, has not committed sexual acts against minors, that we know of, it is important to convey that he presents a significant threat to all females.

A domestic abuser has appeared in court after brandishing a replica firearm from his vehicle following an incidental encounter with his ex-partner, her new companion, and a 13-year-old child in a supermarket parking lot.

Nathan Frost, 33, brandished a black revolver out of the window and stated, ‘I will see you later,’ after a brief altercation outside Aldi in Alphington, Exeter.

The defendant, an unemployed roofer, stated that he acted impulsively due to feeling threatened by the circumstances. The air weapon was in the vehicle since he occasionally utilised it for shooting animals on a farm.

Frost has a lengthy history of domestic abuse and aggression towards women, including his mother and sister.

The court was informed that Nathan Frost had previously appeared in court in 2018 for humiliating his pregnant partner on three occasions in a single day, during which he poured liquids over her, crushed ice cream over her head, and showered her with razor blades, while derogatorily referring to her as a ‘slag’ and ‘bitch.’

The domineering bully thereafter seized her television set and hurled it from a first-floor balcony, resulting in its shattering.

Frost, from Crediton in Devon, pleaded guilty to possessing an air weapon with the aim of instilling fear of violence during his appearance at Exeter Crown Court.

Judge Peter Johnson stated that there was an ambiguous context to the incident, involving a dispute between Nathan Frost and the current partner of his former significant other.

Prosecutor Ms Christine Hart stated that the individuals engaged in a dispute outside the woman’s workplace on September 29. The dispute between the two men subsequently persisted on Facebook, during which Frost shared an image of a black revolver.

She said: “On October 22, the defendant met his ex-partner by chance at Aldi in Exeter. There was an exchange, and the defendant pointed a black handgun out of the window and said, ‘I will see you later. ‘

The woman later told police she had been terrified and feared Frost would shoot her.

Both groups then drove away.

The gun was found by police in clothing at the defendant’s address.

Nathan Frost told police he pointed the gun because he was responding to threats by the other man.

The defendant has 21 previous crimes to his name, mostly for assaults and criminal damage.

He was given a community order in 2018 for assaulting another ex-girlfriend during a jealous rage. She was pregnant at the time.

Judge Johnson jailed Nathan Frost for 20 months, suspended for two years. He was given a restraining order and put under evening curfew for three months.

He said he had come very close to immediate prison.
