In 2019, the Offender Database reported that Mickey Erridge, 24, of Wish Hill, Eastbourne, was sentenced at Brighton Crown Court.
Mickey Erridge was jailed for nine years and five months after pleading guilty to 11 sexual offences against a girl, including rape. The court heard that the abuse began when the victim was just eight years old and continued for several years, only being uncovered when she informed her family in 2017.
Mickey Erridge was ordered to sign the sex offenders register for life and was handed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 15 years. Detective Constable James Brown commended the bravery of the victim for coming forward after enduring years of sexual abuse from Mickey Erridge.
