A convicted Runcorn Paedophile sex offender, Michael Mitchell, has been incarcerated after being apprehended with abhorrent photographs depicting the sexual assault of children.
Michael Mitchell was previously issued a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) and mandated to register as a sex offender, in an effort to curtail his potential for reoffending.
Cheshire Police discovered the abhorrent material on the devices of the 34-year-old in Runcorn, leading to his appearance in court.
Michael Mitchell was then charged with three counts of producing an indecent photograph of a kid and one count of possessing banned photos of children.
He faced two charges for noncompliance with the terms of his sex offender registration notification obligations and one charge for violating a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
Michael Mitchell, residing on Speakman Street in Runcorn, received a three-year prison sentence.
