Lyndon Clement (born in 1961) from Rhondda, Rhondda Cynon Taf, in South Wales, is a dangerous paedophile child molester and is due to go before a parole board soon.
Merthyr Tydfil Combined Court on 19 April 2018, heard that Lyndon Clement abused his step-daughter between the ages of 5 and 16.
He pleaded guilty to 8 counts of the indictment:
- Indecent Assault – digital penetration when the complainant was 5 or 6
- Indecent Assault – digital penetration when the complainant was 11
- Indecent Assault – oral sex when the complainant was 11
- Indecent Assault – simulating intercourse (with ejaculation) when the complainant was 11
- Vaginal Rape (4 counts) – when the complainant was 11/12 (Occurred most Mondays for 5 years between the ages of 11 and 16)
The remaining counts were “left on file” even though there was substantial evidence of his guilt, because the maximum term the Judge could give, after he got credit for pleading guilty, was 11 years, so the court deemed it pointless to prosecute them?!
Lyndon Clement admitted to oral rape numerous times and vaginal rape at least 20 times or more, but said he always used a condom when he raped the young child.
Prosecution pointed out that Lyndon Clement committed offences for a period of more than ten years, including abuse of trust, grooming, threats, and more, in the child’s own home.
He was sentenced to 11 years in prison and must serve two-thirds of that sentence in custody, after which he can be paroled. He will be on licence for 5 years after the end of the 11-year sentence.
So he will be paroled soon and back home.
