A man,, John Carver, who made money from producing and disseminating thousands of indecent photos of minors has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison.

John Carver, 38, homeless, was sentenced at King’s Lynn Crown Court on Friday, July 18, after admitting to 8 counts of distributing indecent photos of a child, 2 acts of creating indecent images of a child, and 7 counts of blackmail. He also acknowledged his noncompliance with the notification requirements of the Sex Offender Register.

John Carver received a sentence of four and a half years in imprisonment, followed by a further four and a half years on extended license. He is permanently included on the Sex Offenders Register, and his Sexual Harm Prevention Order is indefinite.
