James Sharrock, 55, the Winchester Paedophile, of Spicers Court, St Paul’s Hill, is out of prison and building up a new collection of child sexual abuse images.

Winchester Crown Court was informed that Surrey Police, the Metropolitan Police, and Hampshire Constabulary were investigating James Sharrock when investigators visited his residence at Spicers Court on July 24 of the previous year.

Kerry Maylin, representing the prosecution, stated that 4,333 photographs were discovered across many devices, with 2,069 classified as category A, deemed the most egregious sort of obscene images.

PC Kristin McMahon, the officer assigned to the investigation, stated that these “constituted some of the most egregious images of child abuse I have encountered,” further describing them as “sadistic,” depicting “children bound, degraded, and enduring both physical and sexual abuse.”

Several images depicted toddlers who appeared to be drugged, with their ages varying from two months to twelve years.

James Sharrock earlier entered a guilty plea to three charges of creating indecent photos of children, three counts of disseminating indecent images of children, possession of nine forbidden images of minors, and 638 extreme pornographic images.

James Sharrock received a two-year prison sentence and is required to register as a sex offender for a duration of ten years.
