A British Guest Paedophile from Cheetham Hill, Garmyan Hama, preyed upon schoolgirls traversing a park during a ‘terrifying’ experience.
Garmyan Hama, 36, put his hands under his trousers while he persistently gazed at two girls at a park in east Manchester.
The couple felt ‘uneasy’ when attempting to return home.
Manchester Crown Court was informed of claims on social media regarding Hama’s involvement in other acts of a very concerning kind. However, the judge emphasised that he was punishing Hama solely for one act of outraging public decency.
He is poised for impending release from prison, having completed his term following a period of detention on remand.
Ellen Shaw, the prosecutor, stated that two girls, ages 15 and 16, were traversing the park on their way home from school on March 28 at approximately 4:30 PM.
They observed a man in the park who was ‘gazing’ at them, with his ‘hands in his trousers’. The duo averted their gaze but recognised the necessity of passing him to return home.
Ms. Shaw reported that the girls observed him persistently gazing at them and beginning to move his hands up and down. He continued to gaze at them as they exited the park, causing the girls to feel uneasy.
Upon arriving home, the mother of one of the girls perused a Facebook page and discovered a post alleging the presence of a ‘suspicious-looking male’ who had been ‘making advances towards young individuals in the park.’
She presented a photo of the man to the girls, whom they assumed to be the same individual who had observed them previously.
The police were notified, and Garmyan Hama, who monitored the court proceedings with the aid of an interpreter, was recognised.
Since he had been in detention since April, Garmyan Hama was informed that, under early release conditions, he had completed his term and would be released immediately. He will be on parole for the duration of his sentence.
A five-year restraining order was issued, prohibiting Garmyan Hama from contacting the two victims and barring him from the park.
Garmyan Hama, residing on Cheetwood Road in Cheetham Hill, admitted guilt to the offence of outraging public decency.
