The Offender Database has reported that Father Tony White, a much-loved Roman Catholic priest paedophile, has received a sentence for a historical sexual crime against a minor.
Anthony White, 67, was convicted of indecently assaulting a youngster under the age of 14 in the late 1980s, after a trial at Guildford Crown Court. White received a three-year prison sentence on Tuesday, November 4.
The survivor, a secondary school student in his early years, encountered White, referred to as Father Tony White, at his local church.
Father Tony White exploited his role at St John’s Church in Stoneleigh and his participation in clubs to identify and manipulate the youngster.
Some among Father Tony White’s congregation were aware of his odd behaviours but did not report the paedophile priest.
For numerous years, Father Tony White inflicted continuous maltreatment on the little child at his residence.
The maltreatment commenced with the prolonged isolation of the child in a room.
This culminated in Father Tony White exposing the youngster to obscene content and perpetrating acts of indecent assault.
Following each incident, Father Tony coerced the youngster by attributing blame for the occurrences and shaming the survivor into silence to deter him from disclosing his experiences.
Father Tony White (DOB: 20/05/1958) is presently serving a 10-year jail sentence after being convicted in 2022 of historical sexual offences after an inquiry by Sussex Police. This second conviction will be served consecutively to the 10-year sentence.
