In 2025, the Offender Database reported that Daniel Robert Frisby, then 48, of East Sussex, was sentenced at court after being arrested for a series of predatory sexual offences targeting young girls. Frisby, born on 16 July 1977, was caught engaging in grooming behaviour designed to exploit children for sexual gratification.

The charges against Frisby included attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child, trying to cause a female aged 13 or over to engage in sexual activity (non-penetrative), and attempting to cause a child aged 13 to 15 to look at an image of sexual activity. The investigation revealed a pattern of behaviour where Frisby used communication to manipulate minors and expose them to inappropriate sexual content.

Frisby was handed a 22-month suspended sentence, meaning he avoided immediate imprisonment provided he complies with strict court-ordered conditions. Following his sentencing, reports indicated that Frisby has significant links to and has been sighted in the Frome and Trowbridge areas of Somerset and Wiltshire.

As a result of his convictions for sexual offences against children, Daniel Robert Frisby has been placed on the Sex Offenders Register. The length of his registration is determined by the severity of the charges and the length of the suspended term, typically resulting in a notification period of at least 10 years or indefinite.

Frisby is managed under the Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) within the regions he frequents. This framework involves Sussex Police, Avon & Somerset Police, and Wiltshire Police, alongside the National Probation Service, to monitor his residency and movements. He is also subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), which legally restricts his access to the internet and prohibits him from having any contact with minors, allowing authorities to intervene immediately if he attempts to re-offend.
