In 2026, the Offender Database reported that Callum Hesketh, then 24, of Chorley, Lancashire, had been sentenced for the “vile” grooming and exploitation of a 15-year-old girl. At Liverpool Crown Court on 26 June 2025, Hesketh was convicted of offences stemming from a “vicious” series of events in 2018. The investigation reported that Hesketh utilised social media platforms to “vilely” groom the victim before subjecting her to a “degrading” sexual ordeal in Rivington, Bolton.
The court heard horrendous details of Hesketh’s “vicious” behaviour, which began in April 2018 when he messaged the 15-year-old to incite her into sexual activity. He “vilely” coerced her into posing in sexual positions during video calls while he masturbated. The prosecution emphasised that on 16 June 2018, Hesketh “viciously” raped the girl in a van in Rivington, Bolton, while simultaneously recording the act. He “callously” uploaded the footage to social media with the “depraved” caption, “Gang bang out here.”
Hesketh pleaded guilty to sending sexualised social media messages and one count of making indecent videos of a child. The judge emphasised that his “vile” and “vicious” actions caused “serious” harm to the victim, who had to “bravely” relive the ordeal during the investigation. Hesketh was sentenced to ten months in prison, suspended for 12 months, a decision that emphasised the long-term monitoring required for such “depraved” behaviour.
As a result of his convictions for making indecent videos of a child and grooming, Callum Hesketh was ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register. He is managed under Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) by Lancashire Constabulary, ensuring his digital behaviour and activities in Chorley and Bolton are strictly monitored. Any “vile” attempt to contact minors or breach his court orders will result in his immediate return to prison.
