Brian Christmas, Buckton Paedophile, described as ‘revolting’, who inflicted years of abuse on a young girl during the mid-1980s, has been sentenced to five years and six months in jail and has been permanently registered as a sex offender, following his appearance at Hull Crown Court on Friday, 19 September 2025.
Brian Christmas, 76, of Main Street in Buckton, pleaded guilty to four counts of historical sexual offences, comprising two counts of indecent assault and two counts of gross indecency, at Hull Crown Court on Friday, 15 August.
In June 2023, we received a contact from a woman revealing that she had experienced multiple incidences of historical abuse by Brian Christmas, and indicated that the abuse had not been reported to Humberside Police at the time of occurrence. Subsequent to the call received, detectives from our Protecting Vulnerable People Unit initiated an investigation.
After preliminary enquiries, the woman was approached by specially trained investigators who gathered more information to advance the investigation, leading to Brian Christmas being interviewed under caution.
During the interview, Brian Christmas acknowledged certain acts but not all, and the case was referred to the Crown Prosecution Service, which sanctioned four charges against him.
Once again, the Police failed to release an image of the paedophile child molester; maybe they dropped the camera?
