Audrius Zukauskas, the Stoke-on-Trent Rapist, has been convicted in court for raping and assaulting a lady in Stoke-on-Trent.

Audrius Zukauskas, 55, of Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent, entered a guilty plea at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Tuesday, 16 September, to three charges of rape and one charge of assault occasioning actual bodily injury.

Audrius Zukauskas encountered the survivor at a bus stop on 16 August of this year. He enquired whether she wished to ascend to his apartment.

He sexually assaulted her and struck her in the face.

At 3:50 AM on 17 August, an individual dialled 999 to report that a woman was bloodied and engaged in a confrontation with a man.

Officers promptly came and apprehended Audrius Zukauskas in handcuffs, while others remained at the location to interview the survivor.

Audrius Zukauskas has been detained following his admission of the offences in court, with sentencing scheduled at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 10 November.
