Ashley Chambers raped a woman at a Nottinghamshire location on two distinct occasions within same the month.

The 38-year-old, Ashley Chambers, subsequently assaulted the same woman again, this time brandishing knives and a pair of scissors in a menacing manner.

This progressed to the point where Ashley Chambers’ victim lost consciousness during his assault and subsequent strangulation of her.

She ultimately regained consciousness and successfully escaped the location by leaping from a window, subsequently seeking assistance.

Law enforcement was subsequently alerted, with cops arriving at the location shortly thereafter and escorting Ashley Chambers away in handcuffs.

Following the victim’s courageous choice to reveal the incident, multiple charges were filed against Ashley Chambers.

He then entered a guilty plea to two charges of rape, intentional strangling, assault resulting in actual bodily harm, and threatening an individual with a dangerous weapon.

On Friday, August 8, Ashley Chambers, residing on Ilkeston Road in Stapleford, was sentenced to 12 years in prison at Nottingham Crown Court.

Ashley Chambers was also subjected to an indefinite restraining order, prohibiting any communication with the victim.
