A Chatham Paedophile, Abiola Adenmosun, who assaulted a youngster as she was walking on a road in Medway has been incarcerated.
In 2012, Abiola Adenmosun was driving in Rochester when he halted his vehicle next an unfamiliar girl. He cultivated a friendship with her and scheduled a local meeting for the next day.
The victim attended the meeting where Abiola Adenmosun provided her with wine and a cannabis-infused cigarette.
The girl had not before used the medicine and became disoriented. He proceeded to sexually abuse her in his vehicle.
Over several months, Abiola Adenmosun again met with the youngster and perpetrated other sexual offences. During this time, he also vandalised the victim’s phone and assaulted a relative of hers.
The victim attempted to sever all communication with Abiola Adenmosun; however, he continued to send her texts and make phone calls. This prompted her to report his misconduct to the police in 2017.
Abiola Adenmosun, residing on King George Road, Chatham, was interrogated and subsequently charged with six charges of engaging in sexual behaviour with a minor.
Abiola Adenmosun entered a plea of not guilty at Maidstone Crown Court and was subsequently convicted on all charges on 28 February 2025.
On Friday, July 18, the 35-year-old received a sentence of four years and three months of incarceration.
Abiola Adenmosun received an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and must register on the Sex Offenders Register. He will be subjected to a lifelong restraining order. He won’t be deported.

A man who sexually exploited and frequently assaulted a 14-year-old girl had his sentence augmented following the intervention of Solicitor General Ellie Reeves MP.
The court was informed that Abiola Adenmosun, a resident of Chatham, Kent, initiated contact with the adolescent when he was 22 years old and, despite being aware of her age of 14, commenced a connection with her.
From 2012 to 2013, Adenmosun administered narcotics and alcohol to the youngster and sexually assaulted her multiple times, predominantly in his vehicle.
During this time, Adenmosun vandalised the teenager’s phone and physically attacked the victim’s sister.
In a victim impact statement, the victim expressed that she endures daily anxiety and experiences physical discomfort.
Solicitor General Ellie Reeves stated: This case involved egregious and prolonged sexual abuse perpetrated by an adult on a susceptible youngster.
I commend the Court of Appeal’s ruling to augment Adenmosun’s sentence and extend my heartfelt condolences to his victim, who has demonstrated remarkable courage in coming forward.
On 18 July 2025, Abiola Adenmosun was sentenced to four years and three months at Maidstone Crown Court. He was issued an Indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and an Indefinite Restraining Order.
Subsequent to a referral under the Unduly Lenient Sentence system, the Court of Appeal augmented the sentence to six years and nine months of imprisonment.
