A Bordesley Green Paedophile predator, Toray Douglas, who sexually assaulted and raped a vulnerable child has been sentenced to 10 and a half years in prison.

Toray Douglas, known by the moniker ‘Shotty’, abducted the 15-year-old while she was walking alone in Birmingham city centre on June 20 of the previous year.

Birmingham Crown Court was informed that she was under the guardianship of Birmingham City Council and had absconded from a facility on the night of the assault.

Upon her return to the care home by the police, the victim disclosed to a support worker that she had been raped by Toray Douglas.

Subsequent to a prior trial, Toray Douglas, residing on Blakeland Street in Bordesley Green, was convicted of one count of rape and one count of assault by penetration.

Toray Douglas, possessing a history of many prior convictions, was additionally mandated to register on the Sex Offenders Register for the duration of his life.
