Tahmid Majid, the Croydon Paedophile, committed offences on Sunday, 26 June 2022, when a bystander observed two males conversing with a young girl and attempting to get her to accompany them on a train to Manchester.

The men conversed with the little girl in a corridor beside Grantham train station.

A conversation was overheard indicating that the girl could earn substantial amounts of money and would be provided with a residence.

A concerned public member notified Lincolnshire Police of his observations and auditory experiences.

Officers arrived at the location and determined that the girl had departed in a taxi with the two guys, including Tahmid Majid.

Subsequently, officers located the little girl and the defendant in a hotel room. Tahmid Majid was apprehended. Investigations disclosed that he had been travelling from London to engage in sexual relations with the minor for more than two years.

Tahmid Majid was then prosecuted and presented in court on 2 July 2022, where he was remanded into custody until his trial.

During the trial, he admitted guilt to the two charges today.

He received a nine-year prison sentence, was issued a sexual harm prevention order, and was registered on the sex offenders list for life.
