Sam Soyoye, a Brighton Rapist and Sex Offender, has received a ten-year prison sentence after being convicted of rape and sexual offences against two women.

Sam Soyoye, 32, of Windsor Street, Brighton, was convicted at Lewes Crown Court on 3 September of one crime of rape and three counts of sexual assault.

He was detained and presented before the same court on Thursday, 6 November, where he received a ten-year prison sentence, to be served concurrently for all charges.

The charges included two ladies, unfamiliar with one another, who were assaulted in distinct events following their encounters with Sam Soyoye in Brighton.

In June 2024, Sam Soyoye invited a woman to his residence in the early hours, when he sexually assaulted her.

In September 2024, he summoned another woman to his residence and perpetrated sexual assault against her.

After a comprehensive investigation, Sam Soyoye was apprehended, indicted, and subsequently convicted following a trial.
