Between 2020 and 2022, Richard Jackson, the West Hallam Paedophile Child Molester, transmitted sexually explicit communications to the girls, urging them to participate in sexual activities and to submit photographs of themselves.
Officers discovered more explicit Snapchat conversations directed at one of the girls, in which Richard Jackson suggested he was aware of her age being just 14 and expressed his willingness to wait.
An inquiry commenced in May 2021, following the discovery of texts from Jackson on a girl’s device by her parents, leading to his arrest.
In March of this year, Richard Jackson, residing on Caversham Way in West Hallam, was charged with 18 crimes:
- Three counts of sexual communication with a child
- Three counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity
- 11 counts of possessing an indecent image of a child
- One count of causing a child to look at image of sexual activity
Richard Jackson admitted the charges and appeared at Derby Crown Court on 4 August where he was handed a prison term of four years and nine months.
